Job summary

A leading medical devices manufacturer is seeking a Head of Production to oversee all plant operations in Johor, Malaysia. You will plan production, develop strategies to meet objectives, and ensure compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will have at least 15 years in operations management, preferably in GMP environments, alongside strong leadership and interpersonal skills. This role demands familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ operations management experience, preferably within a GMP manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and scheduling of production operations.
• Develop and manage strategies to achieve organizational and financial objectives.
• Implement and maintain TPM, 5S, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
