Responsibilities
  • Production and quality: Lead the daily production of all pastry items, ensuring consistency in quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Innovation: Develop and research new recipes and dessert designs to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
  • Team leadership: Manage, train, and schedule the pastry team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Quality assurance: Implement and enforce strict quality controls, food safety, and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
  • Logistics and inventory: Manage inventory, order supplies, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Operational management: Oversee the overall workflow of the pastry section, manage waste, and ensure efficient production for delivery to various outlets.
  • Menu and cost control: Contribute to menu planning and pricing, and manage the pastry department's budget effectively.
