Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO 22000 and HACCP is advantageous.

• Formulate and implement departmental plans.

• Lead OSH, GMP, and ISO practices.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement Manufacturing Department’s plan to support corporate objectives i.e. to implement, monitor, control, plan operational activities to achieve targeted performance in quality, cost and delivery.
• Organize the Manufacturing Department structure, procedures, job responsibility and functionality of subordinates.
• To monitor and report on quality, productivity and activities on a periodical basis to general manager / managing director with analysis of the source of contributing factors on the achievement or failure.
• Review and analyze reports e.g. KPI etc.
• Leading and motivating subordinates to achieve their set objectives.
• Measure and monitoring subordinates’ performance accordingly.
• To review and monitor production performance regularly.
• To facilitate the cost saving and process improvement to all manufacturing functions.
• To conduct regular production meeting to monitor production performances.
• Manage and optimize PET preform and blow molding operations to meet production targets.
• To lead OSH, GMP, ISO and other system recognize by the Management.
• Other minor or ad‑hoc activity or function.

Academic, Experience and Skill Requirements

• Diploma or Degree holder in Science of Engineering. Or/and
• Minimum 10 years working experience in management and maintenance field in a plastic manufacturing environment, especially in PET and blow molding industry.
• Good operation skills in plastic injection machines, moulds, automation machine/equipment e.g. conveyor, PLC, pneumatic tools, hydraulic valve, robotic, etc.
• Experienced in machine or plant maintenance and operations.
• Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of computers will be an added advantage.
