A leading logistics firm is seeking a Head of Network Development and Partner Management in Malaysia to lead network strategy and partner management. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in logistics and a strong background in network planning and operational optimization. Excellent communication skills and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field are required. This role includes oversight of both owned branches and third-party partners.
The Head of Network Development and Partner Management leads GDEX’s end-to-end network strategy — covering company-owned branches, 3rd-party operators, and agency-based partners. This position combines strategic planning and hands‑on execution, balancing commercial growth with service reliability and operational discipline.
Location: Malaysia (with oversight of Singapore operations)
Design and implement the company’s network development roadmap, including new branch openings, relocations, and network optimization.
Define the right mix of owned and partner‑operated locations to maximize ROI, service coverage, and cost efficiency.
Conduct feasibility and ROI studies to guide network investment and site selection decisions.
Propose new third‑party or agency models to strengthen service reach and market presence.
Manage all GDEX partners, including agents, contractors, and 3rd‑party operators.
Drive partner growth and revenue contribution, ensuring consistent alignment with company standards and service targets.
Lead partner engagement, retention, and performance improvement programs.
Oversee all partner agreements, renewals, and performance governance processes.
Supervise branch space and lease management, ensuring timely renewals, relocations, and cost optimization.
Work closely with Operations, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless site readiness and partner compliance.
Monitor service quality, SLA compliance, and operational performance across both owned and partner networks.
Ensure all network development and partner activities meet legal, regulatory, and company governance standards.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, courier, or multi‑site operational environments.
Experience managing partners, dealers, or agency networks preferred.
Strong understanding of network planning, operational optimization, and ROI‑driven decision‑making.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
