Job description

Gourmessa Sdn Bhd, known for premium no mechanical deboned meat products under the GOURMESSA™ brand, was recently acquired by PrimaBaguz Group on October 26, 2023. This acquisition strengthens PrimaBaguz's market position in retail, enhancing its portfolio of high-quality halal food items. Established in 1987, PrimaBaguz serves foodservice clients globally, providing over 100 halal products. Following its acquisition by Johnsonville in 2020, the company has expanded its presence in Southeast Asia, particularly in halal meat offerings.

Responsibilities

Create a superlative team that drives for results with a culture of inclusiveness, teamwork, and cooperation that allows the Johnsonville Way to thrive and prosper throughout the organization.

Analyze facility daily/weekly/monthly spending to keep manufacturing variance, variable/fixed costs within target to meet/exceed PrimaBaguz’s financial targets.

Develop long range plans and objectives related to cost savings, facility improvements, new products production, succession planning, equipment upgrades, and quality improvements.

Enable the facility’s operations to achieve key performance measures related to member safety, food safety/quality, production attainment and total costs.

Recommend and submit the overall fixed, operational, and capital budget for the location and administer the approved budgets.

Plan, monitor and ensure production plans/strategies are aligned with operations.

Lead, oversee, and monitor production resources. Optimize manpower requirements to meet output targets and productivity levels.

Lead the achievement of a ZERO-injury workplace by ensuring safe work conditions for members and ensure compliance with governmental regulations.

Authority

Authorized to carry out the function in accordance with the Company’s Policies and procedures laid down for the activities under charge.

To prioritize the workflow and give instructions to members under charge based on respective job description.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/supply chain/management or equivalents.

Requirement & Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of successful experience in food or related industries with at least 5 years in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).
• Commitment to personal growth, as well as the proven ability to develop those around you to higher levels of responsibility.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in budgeting, capital planning, capacity planning, and continuous improvement processes required.
• Willing to work at Pulau Indah, Klang.
