Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manufacturing strategies and action plans aligned with company goals to ensure targets in quality, cost efficiency, and delivery timelines are consistently met.
- Establish and maintain an effective departmental structure, define roles, and streamline processes for smooth operations.
- Track and evaluate production quality and output performance, preparing regular reports for senior management with analysis of key success factors and areas for improvement.
- Review departmental performance data and KPI reports to support decision-making.
- Coordinate and oversee training initiatives to strengthen team capabilities.
- Inspire, guide, and coach team members to achieve department and individual goals.
- Set clear performance standards and monitor staff achievement against expectations.
- Oversee daily production activities and ensure operational efficiency.
- Drive cost optimization, process improvement, and productivity enhancement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Conduct regular production meetings to review progress, resolve challenges, and align on priorities.
- Manage PET preform and blow molding operations to meet production output and quality standards.
- Champion and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory systems such as OSH, GMP, and ISO.
- Perform other related duties or ad-hoc assignments as required.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing management and maintenance, preferably within plastic production or similar industries.
- Hands-on knowledge of tooling, automation systems (e.g., conveyors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics).
- Ability to interpret and work with mechanical drawings is an advantage.
- Strong background in equipment or plant maintenance.
- Familiarity with quality and food safety systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, and GMP is desirable.
- Computer literacy and exposure to manufacturing systems or software is beneficial.
