Head of Institutional Sales & Financial Planning

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee the business development activities for Unit Trust (UT)/ Private Retirement Scheme (PRS) Sales, in particular to open up business opportunities for the corporate market through both the Agency and Public Bank Berhad (PBB) distribution channels.
  • Plan and oversee the institutional support for PBB distribution channels, by working with them and the Wealth Management Services for any promotional campaigns.
  • Plan and oversee the smooth running of the Corporate Sales Helpdesk in providing corporate sales presentation/ joint fieldwork support for the distribution channels and to conduct sales workshops to equip Unit Trust Consultants (UTCs)/ IUTA sales staff with adequate knowledge.
  • Oversee the sales and marketing support for the IUTA distribution channels, including but not limited to managing new fund briefings, proposing campaigns, participating in Sales Review Meetings, and conducting Branch Visitations nationwide to support and motivate sales staff.

Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline. Possess CFP qualification or FIMM / PRS licenses.
  • Minimum 18 years’ of related working experience in relevant fields.
  • Possess strong business acumen and able to lead, devote time to work effectively in a team and manage stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel nationwide and possess own transport.
  • Able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends as and when required.
