About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at Al-Islam Specialist Hospital in the vibrant Kuala Lumpur City Centre. This full-time role will be responsible for the hospital's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and driving strategic financial decisions to support our continued growth and success.
Al-Islam Specialist Hospital, originally named Kampung Baru Medical Centre, started business in 1996 and offers a comprehensive range of specialist medical services at reasonable cost.
What you'll be doing
- Lead and manage day-to-day financial operations of the hospital, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting (Accounting, Statutory and Taxes)
- Analysing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and providing recommendations to the management team
- Responsible for preparation of the financial reports including consolidated management reporting, monthly closing, sales and financial reporting
- Full set of accounting
- Overseeing the accounts payable and receivable processes and managing cash flow
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial and management reporting
- Manage tax related matters
- Experience in handling subsidiary accounts
- Provide support to audits, pricing, costing etc.
- In charge of budgeting and forecasting, monitoring the variance
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support strategic initiatives and drive operational efficiency
- Mentoring and developing the finance team, fostering a positive and high‑performing work environment
What we're looking for
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a similar finance management role, preferably within the healthcare industry
- Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with a strong understanding of financial management principles
- Proven track record of driving financial strategy and optimising financial operations
- Proficient in Excel, financial software (AutoCount) and data analysis tools
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a high‑performing finance team
