To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily by providing strategic leadership and execution across the portfolio of business units, which includes the following portfolios.
Spearhead and lead mobile financing solutions and services for the Malaysian market.
Provide strategic leadership, oversee the development and management of the financing roadmap based on the adopted vision and strategies.
Delivers operating plan and growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit, and return on investment.
Responsible for all product related to financing solutions (CompAsia Smartphone instalment plan or programs), covering aspects of negotiation, operations, and project management.
Innovate, improve, and ensure necessary steps are being taken to make any modifications to the product or strategy, to bring out the best results for the business.
Synthesize diverse and complex product information, data and design refined strategies, solutions, workflows, and procedures that are presentable to key stakeholders.
Identify opportunities that lead to growth of the product through innovation while maintaining the fundamental business goals/ priorities.
Perform, analyze, and understand product and market trends to assist in formulating actionable plans to address and seize business opportunities.
Responsible for channel sales partner productivity and budgeting performance.
Responsible for overall delivery of sales performance and retention of quality prospects and business for assigned branch and area.
Explore and establish new partnership with potential local financial companies, channel partners and resellers while maintaining strong relationship with the current existing contacts.
Partner up with other internal business units in order to align and execute product strategies and deliver the right level of support to the respective internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain and work with all the channels, financial partners, categories of business, or key customers.
Responsible for day‑to‑day product activities in such a way that ensures that the product is constantly growing to suit the consumers’ needs.
Responsible for smooth daily operations involving technical related matters (i.e. applications and systems) related to financing and ensure no downtime or disruptions to the daily business transactions and approval rates.
Resolve all customers, resellers, financial company issues and problems daily.
Coordinate and tracking credit and payment status.
Review work performance on a regular basis to ensure that targets and KPIs are met on a monthly basis.
Motivate and lead a high‑performance financing team by aligning team’s goals with the departmental strategies and initiatives.
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, commerce, business administration, management, or any other related discipline. Master’s degree or MBA is preferable.
At least 8 years of relevant working experience in the relevant field. Those candidates coming from banking, financial institutions, mobile phone, and smartphone industry will be an added advantage.
Proven track record in sales, marketing, business development and partnership management.
Agile product management experience with excellent people and communication skills.
Strong business judgement and proven ability to influence others are critical to success in this position.
