Job summary

A leading Malaysian banking institution is seeking a Head of Credit Administration & Control Unit to oversee funding disbursement and monitor non-performing accounts. The ideal candidate should hold a relevant degree and have at least 3 years of experience in banking operations or finance. The role includes ensuring compliance with operational guidelines and providing monthly reports on account statuses.

Qualifications

  • Honors in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mathematics at SPM level.
  • At least 3 years experience in Banking Operations, Finance, Marketing, or Risk Management.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure disbursement of approved funding as per guidelines.
  • Complete and file all related funding documents properly.
  • Review and monitor collections to prevent non-performing accounts.
  • Control and monitor overdue accounts in line with guidelines.
  • Provide reports on non-performing financing accounts.

Qualifications
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Management, Banking, Muamalat Management, Business Management or a related qualification equivalent to it from a Government-recognized IPT.
  • Honors in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mathematics at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia level.
  • Preference is given to candidates who have at least 3 years experience in the fields of Banking Operations, Finance, Marketing, Risk Management related fields.
  • Has excellent analytical thinking, assertive and has good communication skills.
Field of work
  • Ensure that approved funding is disbursed as stipulated in the Operating Guidelines (GPO).
  • Ensure that all documents related to funding are completed and filed properly.
  • Review, monitor and carry out collection and follow‑up work to prevent accounts from entering the Non‑Performing Financing (PTB) category according to the set targets.
  • Ensure collection work is done on accounts in arrears of 5 months and below.
  • Provide monthly and current reports on non‑performing financing accounts at the branch as prescribed.
  • Control and monitor overdue accounts and PTB in accordance with the Operating Guidelines (GPO) of the control unit.
  • Prepare, monitor and ensure that the prescribed daily and monthly reports are completed within the prescribed period.
  • Perform other tasks as directed from time to time.
