Job summary

A global investment bank in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Head of Corporate Finance & Capital Markets. This role involves managing origination efforts and executing transactions in ECM and M&A. The ideal candidate will have at least 6-8 years of experience in corporate finance, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and fluency in Business Mandarin. Responsibilities include financial modeling, due diligence, and training junior staff, coupled with a strong analytical mindset and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years of relevant CF experience including financial modelling, valuation, and preparation of pitch books.
• Fluent in both spoken and written Business Mandarin.
• Prior Investment Banking experience, preferably having completed deals in SE Asia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for origination efforts and execute live transactions.
• Comprise 50% Malaysia Investment Banking coverage and 50% ECM / M&A.
• Train and mentor analysts and interns.
