A prominent healthcare institution in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a Specialist & Clinical Engagement professional. The role involves collaborating with specialists to enhance service utilization and efficiency. Key tasks include recruitment support, marketing initiatives, and performance monitoring. Ideal candidates should have a bachelor's degree in business or related fields and substantial experience in healthcare business development. This position emphasizes strong communication and strategic skills in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Work closely with resident and visiting specialists to grow case volumes and service utilization.
Support recruitment and onboarding of new specialists in collaboration with management.
Assist in structuring service offerings, pricing strategies, and clinical programmes.
Act as a liaison between clinicians and management for growth initiatives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with:
Support negotiations on tariffs, corporate packages, and partnership agreements.
Expand corporate health programmes, screenings, and panel coverage.
Work with marketing teams and external agencies to drive branding and visibility.
Support campaigns, events, awards, health talks, and community outreach.
Develop business proposals, pitch decks, and presentations.
Monitor marketing ROI and effectiveness of promotional activities.
Track business development KPIs including patient volumes, revenue growth, and referral sources.
Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations for Management and Board.
Monitor trends, risks, and opportunities in the private healthcare market.
Work closely with operations, finance, admissions, and clinical teams to ensure service readiness.
Ensure business initiatives are operationally feasible and compliant.
Support process improvements to enhance patient experience and conversion rates.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field.
Master’s Degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in business development, preferably in:
Proven track record in revenue growth, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement.
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong relationship-building with clinicians and external stakeholders.
Understanding of private healthcare business models.
Results-driven, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-changing environment.
