Job description

Champion all digital transformation initiatives to improve the efficiency of all the specific functions below, facilitate data collection for group-level improvement initiatives.

Champion the change and reinforce quality mindset of the technical team.

LEAD 3 MAIN FUNCTIONS UNDER GROUP QUALITY MANAGEMENT:

Responsibilities
  • GROUP QUALITY: Initiatives, projects from designing to implementation including Group Quality In Process Auditing/Compliance/Adherence

  • ISO: Initiatives including annual ISO compliance auditing by both internal and external auditors

  • HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT: Initiatives as well as ongoing audit/contractors compliance, DOSH reporting

  • GROUP QUALITY/QUALITY ASSURANCE, QA

  • Spearhead product quality improvement through various platforms (i.e. Quality Strategy, CSI, etc.)

  • Provide direction to achieve the quality target for product quality

  • To implement all policies, activities, and procedures as relevant and required to improve and enhance our product quality during the project implementation stage.

  • To develop, implement, monitor, control and maintain which includes ongoing plans to review sites performance.

  • Coordinate and conduct internal quality audits on projects to ensure adherence to product quality standard

  • To liaise with certification bodies and external organizations on issues related to quality.

  • Champion all digital transformation projects for product quality.

  • Work closely with vendors to develop an optimized monitoring system and dashboard that will enable on-the-go quality review, compliance, execution, and miss/near-miss implementation at sites.

  • Plan and coordinate QLASSIC assessment with authority

  • Cultivate Quality mindset to staffs in their working environment

  • ISO

  • Review documentation (SOPs) within the group to ensure processes is carried out at need basis (to reduce bureaucracy of the SOPs)

  • To implement all policies, activities, and procedures related to ISO requirements. Ensuring conformance with the Integrated Management System Standard.

  • To develop, implement, monitor, control and maintain the integrated management system that includes planning, coordinating and conducting internal audits.

  • To liaise with certification bodies and external organizations on issues related to ISO. Organize management review board meetings and be accountable to deliver quality management system documents.

  • HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT

  • Advice the employer or any person in charge of a place of work on the measures to be taken in the interests of the safety at the place of work.

  • Oversee the safety measures of any machinery, plant, equipment, substance, appliance or process or any description of manual labour used at the place of work.

  • Investigate any accident, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease this has happened at the place of work.

  • Ensure the employer, pursuant to Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994) and Environmental Quality Act 1974 (EQA 1974), Regulation, Orders and Others Code of Practices.

  • Carry out any other instruction made by the employer or any person in charge of the place of work on any matters pertaining to safety and health of the place of work.

  • Ensure adherence to ESG requirements for HSE which include implementation of HSE standard for whole value/supply chain.

  • Any other duty and responsibility which the company may assign from time to time.

Job Requirements
  • Must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Degree in Engineering/ Architecture/ Science with sufficient background and/or knowledge in construction management, regulatory and other requirements
  • Proven experience in performing QA/QC roles in a managerial capacity with exposure to high rise/integrated development..
  • Oversee daily operations of the Group Quality Management team.
  • Exposure to QLASSIC or equivalent assessment. Experience as assessor is an added advantage.
  • Strong in problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Prior working experience in PROPERTY DEVELOMENT is a must.
