Job summary

alrajhi bank Malaysia is seeking an experienced finance leader responsible for consolidating financials, headcount reporting, and compensation analysis to support Retail Banking Senior Management in making sound business decisions.

You will review Retail Banking financial performance, analyze drivers, assist with budgeting and monthly close, collaborate with business units on strategic plans, and prepare management decks on sales and financial results.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Financial Management or equivalent.
• Professional qualification in Accounting/Finance (CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA).
• A minimum of 10 years' related experience is preferred.
• Senior Manager level experience in Banking/Financial Services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate financials, headcount reporting, and compensation analysis.
• Review and analyze Retail Banking financial performance and drivers.
• Assist with budgeting and monthly close processes.
• Collaborate with business units on strategic and long-term plans.
• Prepare and propose management decks on Retail Banking sales and financial performance.
• Provide monthly competitive analysis and monitor campaigns and staff productivity.
• Prepare commission payout reports and analyze efficiency of staff productivity.
• Analyze financial data and forecast/plan with business units.
• Summarize data and present findings and recommendations to management.
• Track actuals vs plans and identify variances and trends.
• Monitor OPEX and overall profitability by product.

Job description

Responsible for consolidating financials, headcount reporting, and compensation analysis and recommending actions to enable Retail Banking Senior Management making sound business decisions.

What will you do:

• Review and analyze Retail Banking financial performance.
• Understanding key business drivers and prepare sales performance report for daily and monthly basis.
• Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.
• Work closely with all business units in formulating strategic and long term business plan.
• Prepare and propose presentation deck to management on Retail Banking sales and financial performance
• Provide competitive analysis in monthly basis to all business units.
• Suggest and monitor campaigns and premium gifts for sales marketing purposes.
• Prepare commission payout report and provide recommendation/ data analyses based on efficiency of staff productivity from time to time.
• Analyzing financial status by collecting, monitoring and studying data and recommending actions.
• Preparation of annual budget and a short to medium term strategic plan.
• Financial forecast and projection by working with business units.
• Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyzes, and recommendations
• Determine financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results.
• Improve financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions.
• Monitor closely on profit by each product and cost respectively
• Monitoring OPEX expenses and engage in on-going

Skills and experience you possess:

• Degree in Accounting, Financial Management or equivalent.
• Professional qualification in Accounting/Finance (CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA).
• A minimum of 10 years' related experience is preferred.
• Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
