About the role
As the Head of Branch Strategy & Development at AEON Credit Service (M) Bhd, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction and growth of the company's branch network across Malaysia. This full‑time position, based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur, will involve developing and implementing innovative strategies to optimise the branch footprint, enhance customer experience, and drive overall business performance.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and execute comprehensive branch strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Enhance the customer experience by developing and promoting a customer‑centric culture within the branches.
- Oversee the operational efficiency and effectiveness of branch operations.
- Implement strategies to optimize revenue generation and cost control within branches.
- Apply risk management strategies to mitigate operational and financial risks.
- Support the team, region & business unit in ensuring all reports meet the timeline.
- Serve as the first point of contact between HQ and assigned/region branches.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of managers and staff.
- Track and manage post‑project implementation performance monitoring, including any post‑project implementation impact.
- Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job.
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a leadership role within a retail or financial services organisation, with a strong focus on branch strategy and development.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful branch expansion and optimisation strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, with the ability to align branch initiatives with the overall business objectives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Familiarity with the Malaysian retail and financial services landscape, including regulatory requirements and industry trends.
