To oversee the admissions unit and be responsible for the processing of student applications and admissions.

To ensure competent administration and record keeping of the admissions process including entry assessments, e.g. academic interviews, English Language proficiency and maturity tests.

To contribute to the achievement of student enrolment targets.

Role Purpose
  • Oversee the admissions unit and be responsible for the processing of student applications and admissions.
  • Ensure competent administration and record keeping of the admissions process including entry assessments, e.g., academic interviews, English language proficiency and maturity tests.
  • Contribute to the achievement of student enrolment targets.
Principal Accountabilities
  • Coordinate the processing of all student applications from submission to outcome, ensuring timely handling and compliance with university standards.
  • Provide high‑quality customer service to all applicants at all stages of the application process.
  • Develop and manage a customer‑service ethos throughout the admissions process, ensuring all turnaround times are met.
  • Ensure entry requirements are accurately presented in all publicity materials and are updated as needed.
  • Track decisions on interviews, arrange interview logistics, support applicants on interview day, and coordinate post‑interview feedback.
  • Manage admissions policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with fair admissions and governmental policies.
  • Line‑manage admission staff, delegate tasks, and monitor team progress.
  • Generate regular reports on admissions metrics, application trends, and enrolment projections to enhance the student recruitment process.
  • Use data‑driven insights to make informed decisions and improve the admissions process.
  • Support the Marketing & Enrolment Office in organising internal recruitment events such as Open Days and Application Days.
  • Liaise with the Registrar’s Office concerning implementation of QA policies and procedures and compliance with academic standards.
  • Research and disseminate information relevant to management and the School, such as competitor offerings, visa requirements, and language standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Business Studies, Administration, Marketing, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in admissions or enrolment management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Good understanding of admissions processes, MQA and MOHE regulations related to programme entry and qualification recognition.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Well‑developed organisational, analytical and managerial skills, with attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Good interpersonal and relationship‑management skills.
