Job description

The HCM Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and ongoing support of HR systems and solutions across the organization. This individual leads a team of HR technology professionals – functional product owners and analysts – ensuring seamless sustainment and optimization of platforms that support talent acquisition, payroll, compensation, benefits, performance management, learning, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR technology professionals, fostering an environment of collaboration, accountability, and growth.
  • Establish team objectives, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and support.
  • Allocate and oversee resources effectively to meet project deadlines and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with partners in IT to deliver expected system maintenance and enhancements planning work distribution and sprint scope according to capacity of collective team.
  • Develop, maintain and execute the HR technology roadmap in alignment with organizational goals and HR strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes through automation, system integration, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, analytics, cloud-based platforms).
  • Champion change management initiatives to facilitate adoption of new HR technology and foster a culture of innovation.
  • Ensure system integrity, security, and data privacy in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Ensure a positive end‑user experience through responsive team support and continuous system improvement.
  • Promote self‑service capabilities and digital literacy among the workforce.
