Job summary

Keysight Technologies Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is offering an internship in its R&D team to support the design and development of measurement platforms and analog/mixed-signal hardware.

You will work on bench power supplies, digital multimeters, function generators, electronic loads, and data acquisition systems, learning to use simulation tools and collaborate across engineering teams. This role emphasizes eagerness to learn, teamwork, and strong English communication, with no prior experience

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
• Basic understanding of the product development lifecycle; hardware/software integration interest.
• Familiarity with digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuit design troubleshooting.
• Strong teamwork, learning mindset, and good English communication.
• No prior work experience required; related coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing analog and mixed-signal hardware for measurement instruments.
• Learn and apply circuit simulation tools (HSpice, PSpice, LTSpice, Saber) for verification.
• Support automated tests to measure and validate product performance.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and other hardware engineers to improve designs.
• Document hardware designs and promote scalable design processes.

Responsibilities

As an intern in the R&D team, you will support the design and development of cutting‑edge measurement platforms and analog/mixed‑signal hardware for Keysight’s test and measurement instruments. Your work will involve assisting with the development of a wide range of products, including bench power supplies, digital multimeters, function generators, electronic loads, and data acquisition systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of analog and mixed‑signal hardware systems for measurement instruments.
• Learn and apply circuit simulation tools (e.g., HSpice, PSpice, LTSpice, Saber) for design verification and testing.
• Support the automation of tests to conduct measurements and validate product performance.
• Collaborate with engineers from mechanical, software, and other hardware teams to enhance and optimize system designs.
• Assist in documenting hardware designs and promoting best practices for efficient and scalable design processes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
• Basic understanding of the product development process and lifecycle.
  Some experience or interest in hardware and software system integration tasks.
• Familiarity with digital, analog, and mixed‑signal circuit design and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently, with a strong willingness to learn and improve design processes.
• Good organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• No specific work experience required, but any related project or coursework experience will be a plus.
