A food service company in Malacca is seeking a candidate to implement and maintain the Halal management system. This role includes conducting internal audits, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with Halal standards. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in Food Technology or related fields and possess strong documentation and auditing skills. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
Implement and maintain Halal management system according to JAKIM or relevant standards.
Conduct internal Halal audits and inspections.
Prepare, maintain, and update Halal documentation and records.
Ensure all products, raw materials, and processes comply with Halal requirements.
Liaise with suppliers, production, and relevant departments to ensure Halal compliance.
Assist during Halal certification audits by authorities.
Report non-compliance and corrective actions promptly.
Train staff on Halal procedures and awareness.
Diploma/Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Halal Studies, or related field.
Minimum 0–2 years working experience in Halal certification, quality assurance, or related field (Fresh Graduates encouraged to apply).
Knowledge of Halal standards (JAKIM / MS 1500).
Strong documentation and auditing skills.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
