Great Heart Charity Association – Kota Kemuning, Selangor

Great Vision Charity Association (GVCA) – Persatuan Harapan Mulia, a sister NGO of the Great Heart Charity Association – Persatuan Kasih Sejati, is dedicated to empowering youth through education and community engagement. The GVCA Education Program Officer is responsible for coordinating and managing education‑related initiatives under GVCA, primarily the Great Vision Scholarship Program and the GV Club (You & Me Educational Program). This role focuses on supporting students’ academic and personal growth, fostering volunteerism, and ensuring the effective implementation of programs that align with GVCA’s mission to nurture capable and compassionate young leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer a full scholarship program that supports selected students financially throughout their studies.
• Monitor tuition fee payments and liaise with the Accounts Department and Student Council.
• Track students’ academic schedules, internship placements, and study progress.

Great Vision Club (You & Me Educational Program)

• Students from the club lead initiatives that promote volunteerism, leadership, and community involvement.
• Liaise with the Club President and committee members on activity planning and implementation.
• Monitor student‑led events, volunteer programs, and fundraising activities.
• Serve as a mentor or advisor for the club’s charity and community projects.
• Deliver talks or sharing sessions under the You & Me segment to inspire students and strengthen engagement.
• Encourage leadership development, teamwork, and active participation among student members.

Requirements

• A diploma in the above fields may be accepted with significant relevant experience.
• Good communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills, and comfortable delivering presentations or public talks.
• Passionate about youth empowerment, education, and community service.
• Organized, responsible, and proactive.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is compulsory to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
• Willing to work weekends or outside office hours during events.
• Able to carry out tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
