A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
We are looking for an ambitious and driven Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) expert whose values align with our TEAM; standing for Together, Extra-mile, Accountable and Mindful. The FP&A team works closely with the senior Finance and Operations teams, takes full responsibility for all business forecasting, and provides analysis of financial and strategic matters in order to make decisions. The core focus of the team is to maintain the economic health of the business, and it's the FP&A's role to give a strong analytical judgement and to have excellent people skills to communicate this with other departments.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

Monthly Management Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly management reports, including commentary on performance and key metrics.
  • Prepare and maintain a monthly forecast to track the company’s financial performance.
  • Generate, maintain, review and analyse monthly reports from each of our 40+ locations across eight countries, including monthly management reports, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.

Quarterly Board Reporting:

  • Prepare and compile the Board Meeting financial slides on a quarterly basis.

Budgeting & Projection:

  • Create and manage country-specific budget templates for inputting annual budget data.
  • Prepare financial projections, particularly for potential investments or acquisitions.

System Administration and Support:

  • Act as the System Administrator for accounting and financial systems, such as:
    • Xero (Accounting Software)
    • Business Central (ERP system)
    • Jet Reporting (Reporting tool)
  • Lead the accounting system migration from Xero to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, ensuring a smooth transition.

System Migrations & Integrations:

  • Oversee the migration of the membership system from Office R&D to Ambition Engine, ensuring that data and processes are transferred correctly into Business Central.
  • Connect with the solution provider to implement the integration of the e-invoice system for Malaysia.

Due Diligence:

  • Coordinate and manage due diligence activities for any merger or acquisition.
  • Track and manage the due diligence checklist.
  • Communicate with external consultants, legal teams and other stakeholders.
  • Gather and organise relevant information and documents on the data site.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five plus years of experience in a similar position.
  • Personable with strong verbal and written communication.
  • Exceptionally organised with the ability to multitask.
  • Thrives under pressure and solution-oriented.
  • University Degree in a related field.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Prior experience in coworking, real estate, or startup business would be an advantage.
  • Fluent in English.
