Are you a seasoned finance professional looking for an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the financial strategy of a dynamic group of companies? This role offers the chance to oversee the entire spectrum of finance operations, from day-to-day management to strategic decision‑making, in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

What you’ll be doing?

Drive financial strategy: Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations while maintaining a deep understanding of key business drivers to provide clear, insightful analysis of business and financial performance.

Lead comprehensive finance functions: Manage the full range of finance duties, including banking & treasury, accounting & reporting, financial planning & analysis, and cash flow management across all group companies.

Spearhead financial reporting: Initiate, direct, and coordinate the preparation of group financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly consolidations.

Enhance financial systems: Implement and maintain robust accounting systems, internal controls, and working procedures for the entire group of companies.

Build key relationships: Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other statutory bodies to ensure smooth financial operations.

Guide budgeting processes: Lead the preparation of budgets and quarterly forecasts to support strategic decision‑making.

Ensure regulatory compliance: Oversee timely and accurate completion of all relevant statutory reporting to maintain good corporate governance.

Provide performance insights: Evaluate and interpret the organization’s financial and business performance, offering recommendations to management on a monthly basis.

Monitor financial variances: Provide analytical reports comparing actual performance against budgets monthly.

Optimize cash management: Ensure effective management of payables, receivables, and cash balances.

Support strategic initiatives: Provide expertise to senior management on business and operational matters, leading special projects as required.

Develop finance talent: Select, hire, motivate, and develop team members to ensure optimal effectiveness and efficiency in the finance department.

Who are they looking for?

Finance qualifications: Possess a Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting or a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/MICPA/CIMA), along with membership in MIA or a government‑recognized professional body.

Extensive experience: Bring at least 10 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity, with a background in FMCG environments preferred.

Operational finance expertise: Demonstrate experience in operational finance and finance business partnerships to drive strategic decision‑making.
