Job description

Lead Group Finance function across Malaysia and Singapore entities.

Group Finance & Governance

Establish strong governance frameworks, internal controls, audit readiness, and strengthen segregation of duties and risk management to enforce financial discipline.

Profitability & Performance

Drive profitability improvement, margin recovery, and cost discipline; oversee budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and performance management; implement ROI‑driven controls over marketing, trade, and promotional spend.

Cashflow & Treasury

Lead treasury, cashflow planning, and working capital optimisation; ensure prudent capital allocation and liquidity management.

Reporting & Investor Readiness

Build investor‑grade financial reporting, MIS, and dashboards (Power BI or equivalent); prepare board, EXCO, bank, and investor packs; support valuation improvement initiatives.

Strategic & Transactional Support

Support M&A, due diligence, and strategic transactions; act as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA (mandatory)
• MBA is an advantage but not required
• 12–20 years total finance experience
• Minimum 5 years as CFO, Regional Finance Director, or Senior Group Finance Controller (CFO‑ready)
• Proven experience managing multi‑entity, multi‑country operations (Malaysia & Singapore strongly preferred)
• Industry background in FMCG, Consumer Health, Beauty, Nutraceuticals, Pharma, or high‑volume E‑commerce
• Demonstrated track record in profit turnaround, margin improvement, and cost control
• Strong governance, internal controls, audit, and risk management expertise
• Hands‑on experience in budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, treasury, and cashflow
• Comfortable operating at EXCO, bank, and investor level
• Experience preparing companies for M&A or due diligence
