This Ground Instructor or Theoretical Knowledge Instructor role is crucial for providing flight crew members with the necessary theoretical knowledge and understanding to operate an aircraft safely and effectively. Manage and supervise theoretical training courses and programs required to satisfy the training and licensing requirements for flight crew members, instructors, and examiners, as mandated by the regulatory authority, and in accordance with the policies and procedures specified in Civil Aviation Authority Manual(CAAM) documentations and MAB Academy Manuals
Key Accountability
- Conduct theoretical knowledge training for flight crew members, ensuring alignment with applicable regulatory requirements and company objectives
- Oversee the development and implementation of training programs to cover essential aviation topic
- Develop and manage programs for the selection and training of examiners, ensuring they meet regulatory and company standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in aviation to create and update theoretical knowledge training courses and materials.
- Ensure that training materials remain current and relevant to industry developments.
- Foster strong relationships with trainees, particularly those facing challenges in their progress.
- Provide support and guidance to trainees, helping them overcome difficulties and succeed in their training.
- Manage and observe the completion of all theoretical knowledge training forms and progress reports, ensuring they adhere to Company and Regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain stringent quality procedures to uphold the highest standards in theoretical knowledge training.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations of training programs to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay informed about aviation regulations and ensure that all training activities are in strict adherence to these regulations
- Collaborate with regulatory authorities to ensure ongoing compliance and facilitate necessary updates.
- Continuously assess and improve training methodologies, procedures, and materials to enhance the effectiveness of training programs.
- Promote a culture of learning and innovation within the training team
Qualification & Working Experience
- CAAM CPL/IR with Frozen ATPL License , or
- Relevant Aviation Engineering Degree or equal qualification.
- HRDF Train the Trainer Course.
- 1 year operational experience as pilot in commercial environment or
- 1 year of experience of ground instructor certified by CAAM
Areas of Experience
- Extensive experience in preparing flight documents, navigation, air traffic management system, flight planning system.
- Solid knowledge of aircraft systems and performances of Boeing 737-800,

- Proven organisational and administrative skills with demonstrable success in managing a variety of people, tasks and/or activities
- Ability to drive change management in a highly regulated environment with an objective of attaining efficiency and improving structural cost management with strong business and commercial focus
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
