Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team in the fast-paced and dynamic baby gear industry. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging marketing materials that effectively communicate our brand's message to our target audience. You will be part of the marketing team, and working closely with sales team and brand managers to ensure consistency and alignment with our brand identity. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company by crafting compelling visual assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and produce high-quality, eye-catching marketing materials, including print and digital assets such as brochures, buntings, catalogues, advertisements, social media graphics, website banners, email newsletters, etc.
  • Develop creative concepts and strategies that align with brand guidelines and target audience preferences
  • Create visually appealing product presentations, showcasing baby gear features and benefits through persuasive graphics and visual storytelling
  • Translate product specifications and features into visually appealing and informative graphics that highlight key selling points
  • Continuously research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and design best practices to ensure the brand remains current and innovative.
  • Implement consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials, maintaining brand integrity and recognition
  • Collaborate with sales team to gather requirements, understand objectives, and deliver design solutions that meet business needs
  • Conduct regular reviews and revisions of existing marketing materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the target audience and user personas to tailor designs to their needs and preferences
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, multimedia, or a related field.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of working experience as a Graphic Designer
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including both print and digital marketing materials.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition.
  • Knowledge of current design trends and best practices in digital marketing and e-commerce.
  • Experience with photo editing and retouching, including product photography enhancement.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across different mediums.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web design principles is a plus.
  • Bonus: Video editing skills (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) are a plus.
  • Passion for the baby gear industry and a genuine interest in design trends and innovations within the field.
