Overview

Contributes to the design, development, and enhancement of development tools such as compilers, debuggers, profilers, and build systems that support engineering workflows. May assist in toolchain integration, performance analysis, and feature development to improve developer productivity and code quality. Works with software engineers, architects, and product teams to align tools with evolving platform needs. Learns and applies knowledge, builds skills, and explores future career opportunities through hands-on experience and projects that support Intel business goals in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Contributes to the design, development, and enhancement of development tools such as compilers, debuggers, profilers, and build systems that support engineering workflows.
  • May assist in toolchain integration, performance analysis, and feature development to improve developer productivity and code quality.
  • Works with software engineers, architects, and product teams to align tools with evolving platform needs.
  • Learns and applies knowledge, builds skills, and explores future career opportunities through hands-on experience and projects that support Intel business goals in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in C#, Python and OO programming languages.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with or knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., AzureDevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Awareness of security best practices in tool and infrastructure development.
  • Participation in internships, coding bootcamps, or open-source projects.

Work Model for this Role
