Job Summary: MSR-GE, a leader in renewable energy (“RE”) infrastructure, is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our growing project delivery team. This site-based role offers hands‑on experience in the implementation and delivery of solar PV and battery energy storage system (“BESS”) projects. The successful candidate will be initially based at our Bukit Kayu Hitam (Kedah) project site, before a subsequent transfer to Bachok (Kelantan). This position is offered on an 18‑month contract basis, with conversion to a permanent role within one year subject to performance. You will work under the guidance of experienced engineers and gain valuable exposure to both on‑site technical activities and project coordination workstreams – an excellent opportunity to develop a strong foundation in the RE industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing and preparing basic electrical drawings such as single‑line diagrams, cable layouts, and grounding plans.
• Support data collection, load calculations, and preparation of design documentation.
• Assist senior engineers in quality checks and inspections of electrical installation works on site.
• Participate in basic testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities under supervision.
• Help maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and drawings.
• Support site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols.
• Coordinate with project teams to assist in procurement tracking and technical clarifications.
• Stay updated on relevant industry practices, tools, and safety requirements.

About You:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, preferably with academic exposure to power systems or RE.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD; exposure to electrical simulation or design tools is an advantage.
• A strong willingness to learn, with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Good teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work full‑time at project sites across Malaysia.
• Interest in building a long‑term career in the RE sector.
