We are seeking for ONE (1) highly motivated student to join the Graduate Assistantship program in the Chemical Engineering Department at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS.

PROJECT TITLE:

Facile Pretreatment of Biomass Wastes For Enhanced Quality Biofuels Production

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• CGPA > 3.25
• Able to start immediately (Jan 2026 intake).
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, target-oriented to reach project outcomes, and able to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication and writing skills in English.
• Experience in biomass-to-biofuel conversion is a BONUS point!

ELIGIBILITY

• Open to Malaysian and International students
• Must register as a full-time postgraduate student at UTP

TUITION FEE & STIPEND

• Received full tuition coverage through a teaching assistantship.
• Monthly allowance: RM 2000/month
• Duration: 2 years
