Job summary

GlobalFoundries Malaysia in Penang is seeking a Lead, Technical Training to drive global training initiatives, governance and competency management across the GF manufacturing network. You will standardize training processes, manage LMS platforms (Workday Learning, SumTotal) and collaborate with engineering, HR and site teams to ensure audit readiness and continuous improvement in workforce capability.

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing, technical training, LMS governance, or project management.
Experience administering Learning Management Systems and governance in global or cross-functional environments.
Experience with audit readiness and training compliance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead global technical training projects and initiatives supporting manufacturing capability and workforce development.
Drive standardization of training processes, curricula, competency frameworks, and qualification methodologies across all fabs.
Support governance, administration, and continuous improvement of LMS platforms (Workday Learning, SumTotal).
Partner with site training teams, engineering, HR, and SMEs to deploy effective learning solutions.
Develop training dashboards, metrics, and reports to monitor compliance and capability.
