BAT in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Supply Chain Optimisation Manager to lead end-to-end planning with Tier-1–Tier-3 suppliers. You will drive inventory and production management, collaborate across internal teams, and build digital capabilities for streamlined operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in supply chain planning, strong data analytics, and English/Chinese language skills. This role offers a performance bonus, health plans, and flexible holidays in a global setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply and demand planning within ERP systems and non-ERP environments.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong experience in spreadsheet development, reporting, data analysis, and visualization.
• Experience leading external suppliers and stakeholder relationships.
• Language proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Ensure Tier-1 suppliers make and deliver volumes per demand to eliminate waste and cost.
• Own inventory management with suppliers and lead planning aligned with demand signals.
• Lead supplier collaboration and KPI-driven ways of working.
• Build digital capabilities and connect processes via systems used by stakeholders.
• Manage platforms related to supply operations (SharePoint, planning templates, Power BI).
• Update information sharing templates with production volumes, headcount, KPI data, and inventory data.
• Maintain component inventory policy and ensure end-to-end scope is coordinated in reports.
• Drive inventory and production management with suppliers, map shortage risks, and RCA resolutions.
• Ensure policy compliance, obsolescence risk visibility, and data accuracy across reports.
• Coordinate meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders; drive continuous improvement end-to-end.
