Job summary

Vigor Precision (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support the transfer of critical-to-quality requirements from China HQ to the Malaysia plant. You will establish IQC, IPQC, and OQC for new lines, and drive PPAP submissions for transferred elements.

The role involves FMEA-based risk assessments for new equipment and processes, investigation of non-conformances, and leading root cause analyses with corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Quality Assurance within plastic injection molding or assembly.
• Knowledge of SPC, GR&R, and common problem-solving tools.
• Experience with LEGO requirements or similar high-quality consumer goods manufacturing is an advantage.
• IATF 16949 Auditor qualification is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin are advantages.

Responsibilities

• Support the transfer of product quality requirements from China HQ to Malaysia plant.
• Develop and implement IQC, IPQC, and OQC for new production lines (injection molding, assembly, packaging).
• Lead PPAP submissions for transferred elements and new production approvals.
• Perform process confirmation and risk assessments (FMEA) for new equipment and processes, both in-house and supplier related.
• Investigate non-conformances, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Train QC Inspectors and Line Operators on quality standards, measurement techniques, and defect recognition.
