Job summary

H.B. Fuller, a leading adhesives company, is seeking a skilled Material Planner in Malaysia (Klang area) to manage production scheduling and inventory control. You will collaborate with Sales, R&D and Operations to ensure on-time delivery, optimize capacity, and minimize slow-moving inventories.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in material planning, with strong Excel and English communication. ERP experience such as SAP is highly preferred; the position is on-site in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in material planning/production scheduling in industrial/manufacturing.
• Strong computer skills, especially Excel or similar.
• Good English (oral and written) skills.
• Strong communication and coordination, quick response and action oriented, diligent and careful.

Responsibilities

• Double confirm and analyze the sales forecast & ordered volume by each SKU. Identify/resolve potential supply bottlenecks.
• Release planned orders/purchase requests after MRP runs; monitor ETA of PRs.
• Expedite or delay open orders based on demand and forecast.
• Arrange detailed production planning/scheduling to optimize capacity and fulfill orders; respond to change requests.
• Control inventory turnover (DOH) and total inventory value within budget.
• Monitor slow-moving items and coordinate with sales, R&D and operations to address SLOB.
• PR release/MO release/MO confirmation and other system operations.
• Identify single-source RM and RM supply risks to improve stability and reliability.
• Other tasks assigned by direct supervisor.
