Job summary

ExxonMobil in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) and inspection specialist to provide technical leadership across global facilities and projects. You will ensure high-quality inspection practices and deliver advanced integrity solutions for assets and operations.

The role requires 5–10+ years in NDE, an engineering degree, travel ability, and strong knowledge of API, ASME, ISO, ASNT, and AWS standards, with excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Five (5) to 10+ years of advanced NDE and inspection experience in oil & gas.
• Engineering degree (Bachelor’s or higher).
• Ability to travel globally and support sites.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards and industry practices (API, ASME, ISO, ASNT, AWS).
• Strong verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve NDE procedures to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Qualify and audit NDE operators and service providers for competence.
• Support development and implementation of inspection quality and integrity programs at sites.
• Lead planning and execution of advanced NDE jobs and interpret results.
