Job summary

Wilmar Plantations Sdn. Bhd. seeks an experienced internal auditor to oversee audits across group units, including overseas stations and subsidiaries.

You will plan and conduct process-oriented financial and operational audits, assess risks, review internal controls, and present findings with actionable recommendations to management. The role requires travel more than 50% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance or Professional Qualification in Accountancy with 2 to 5 years audit experiences.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, positive proactive personality and be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Proficient in written and spoken English (Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia or other languages would be an added advantage).
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices, management principles, business practices and controls, corporate governance, risk assessment methodologies and IIA standards.
• IT knowledge and experience with good analysis skill using computer like Excel, Word, etc.
• Required to travel more than 50% i.e. domestic / international

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the audits of different business units in our Group of Companies, including overseas stations and subsidiaries
• Plan and conduct process-oriented financial and operational audits
• Assess financial, operational, external and other risks and review the adequacy of internal controls to address these risks for processes and system in the Group
• Present findings and recommendations to management and work with business line management to monitor outstanding audit findings and prepare status reports
