Job summary

Armstrong Asia seeks a Group Infrastructure Manager to lead and govern the Group's IT infrastructure across networks, servers, cloud platforms, end-user computing, and security. You will own the infrastructure strategy, roadmap, budget, and vendor relationships, reporting to the IDT Director and aligning with the digital transformation agenda.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years in IT infrastructure in a managerial role with accountability for teams, budgets, and vendor contracts.
• Proven track record governing infrastructure and cloud strategy, roadmaps, and standards across multiple sites or countries.
• Strong experience managing infrastructure budgets (capex and opex), vendor selection, contract negotiation, and governance.
• Experience leading cloud adoption across platforms (Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365) and hybrid environments.
• Experience embedding SRE, observability, and ITIL service management at scale.
• Broad experience in infrastructure security, backup, disaster recovery, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing workplace-collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams, Google Workspace).

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and govern the Group’s infrastructure and cloud roadmap.
• Define infrastructure standards, architecture principles, and policies across all sites.
• Lead capacity planning, technology refresh, and lifecycle management.
• Own the annual infrastructure budget and vendor contracts.
• Establish disaster-recovery and business-continuity plans.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and invest where value is delivered.
• Oversee availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of all infrastructure services.
• Govern incident, problem, and change management; ensure service stability.
• Direct cloud platform management to enhance scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure security, patching, backup operations, and compliance per IT policies.
