British American Tobacco has an exciting opportunity for a Global IDT Senior Business Analyst in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

An opportunity to work with the DBS Transformation team to identify and shape forward-thinking opportunities while working with DBS IDT functions to review and assess the future of Digital Transformation critical initiatives part of the BAT Global Transformation programme Fit2Win.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Global DBS Transformation Manager and Productivity Manager to identify and shape forward-thinking opportunities while working with Architecture and relevant IDT teams to review and assess the future of Digital Transformation strategic roadmap part of Fit2Win.
• Establishing the contribution that technology can make to business objectives using a range of techniques such as eliciting and documenting requirements with collaborators, conducting feasibility studies, producing business models, preparing business cases, usability requirements analysis and usability evaluation
• Driving and obtaining agreement on the requirements / features which will be most beneficial to the business in realising the Digital DBS Transformation vision, agenda and roadmap.
• Ensuring the initiatives impact can be accurately measured and work with the insights to identify and set up reporting.
• Overseeing implementation of solutions – checking against the initial requirements
• Identifying and addressing issues impacting the execution of strategic / operational / project plans
• Managing internal and/or external resources to drive delivery of changes to existing technology platforms, or for the identification, assessment, selection and deployment of new technology solutions and platforms.
• Provide leadership to peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results
• Assess business process & system inefficiencies and identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive) including identifying ways to increase adoption and user satisfaction

What are we looking for?

• Business-facing IT experience in a global environment, preferably with a degree in an IT-related field
• Shows genuine curiosity about digital and adapts rapidly.
• Understanding of industry technology trends and associated benefits in application to BAT’s overall business strategy.
• Comfortable operating at pace and with ambiguity, able and willing to pivot where necessary.
• Strong inter-personal skills to ensure delivery across multiple stakeholders in very varied teams and fields.
• Highly organised, self-driven with attention to detail, in providing oversights for project initiation and delivery
• Motivated and results oriented with the ability to deliver within tight timescales.
• Have strong planning, communication and presentation skills along with the capability to listen and influence at all levels of the organisation
