Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Global Commodity Manager for Electronics Distribution in Penang. You will own the sourcing strategy, negotiate pricing and terms, and manage supplier performance within the global SCM team.

Travel up to 25% is expected as part of supplier engagements and site coordination. You will interact with internal and external stakeholders to optimize discounts, payment terms, and supplier development programs across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead complex negotiations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute sourcing strategy within the distribution channel for assigned suppliers/commodities/segments.
• Negotiate price, value, and contract terms with suppliers.
• Lead the quarterly global electronics distribution negotiation process and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Support supplier quality audits and corporate commodity council reporting.
