Job summary

Continental is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join the central team with worldwide responsibility for cybersecurity topics. You will provide consulting across IT and business functions, support security projects, and help govern cybersecurity rules and incidents.

Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, IT architecture, OS, network security, and OT protocols is required, along with English proficiency and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in information technology or equivalent.
• Several years of work experience in enterprise IT environments (preferably including cybersecurity).
• Experience with working in international project teams.
• Communication Skills to effectively communicate information to various target groups.
• Interest in current technology trends.
• Willingness to travel from time to time.
• Proficiency in English language.

Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity consulting for other teams and IT/business functions worldwide.
• Project support: review security checklists and architecture documentation.
• Service requests: consulting and approvals for cybersecurity changes.
• Cybersecurity rules: define and review standards and guidelines.
• Cybersecurity incident support: guidance and coordination with IT teams.
• Audit support: assistance during audits, tests and assessments.
• Trend evaluation: monitor current cybersecurity trends.
• Focus topics: OT security, IoT/non-office device security, network security.
