Job summary

SF International in Malaysia is seeking an experienced information security professional to monitor and respond to network security alerts and incidents for overseas systems, including emergency response operations. You will develop and maintain monitoring models and tools, and operate security solutions across overseas infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on experience with WAF, HIDS, EDR, data protection technologies, and strong incident response skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in information security.
• Knowledge of web vulnerability principles and protections.
• Familiarity with network security tools including WAF, HIDS, EDR.
• Experience in security incident response and investigation.
• English proficiency required; Chinese literacy is an advantage.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability to new tech.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to network security alerts and incidents for overseas systems.
• Develop and maintain network security monitoring models and tools for overseas infrastructure.
• Operate and manage overseas security tools including WAF, API security, host security, and container security.
• Manage vulnerability operations for overseas application systems: identification, assessment, remediation.
• Oversee data security capabilities: classification, encryption, access control, data sharing management.
• Oversee risk assessment, remediation, and governance for overseas application systems.
• Manage data breach monitoring and emergency response for overseas application systems.
