You will build core accounting skills, support auditors and tax agents, and contribute to timely financial reporting while enjoying a flexible work arrangement that includes office and home-based work.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate with the relevant degree or diploma; 1 year experience preferred.
• Sound knowledge of international and local accounting principles and practices and financial reporting.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Intermediate Excel skill set and willingness to learn cloud accounting system.
• Good command of both spoken and written English. Demonstrated self-starter with high initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping from simple to medium complexity, including closing full set of books.
• Prepare annual financial statements, scheduling, and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare GST returns and tax computations.
• Prepare tax returns with tax computations and accounts payable support.
• Produce tailor-made management reports and financial analysis.
• Assist in liaising with auditors and tax agents.
• Ensure all accounts portfolios are completed on time for reporting.
• Maintain proper storage and filing of accounting documentation.
• Complete timesheets accurately and on time; perform other duties as assigned.
