Job summary

An international waste management solutions company in Malaysia seeks a Maintenance & Service Engineer to lead a technical team responsible for operational integrity of automated waste collection systems. Ideal candidates should possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering and over five years of relevant experience, alongside fluency in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance schedules, contract management, and vendor relations, with benefits including allowances for travel and mobile expenses.

Qualifications

• 5 years of maintenance, service management, or supervisory experience.
• Own transport and willingness to travel within Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train the Maintenance & Service team on AWCS repair and maintenance procedures.
• Formulate costing proposals and manage service contract negotiations.
• Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure proper record-keeping.
• Manage departmental cash flow and customer debt collection.
• Source and manage vendor relationships.

Skills

Fluency in English

Fluency in Bahasa Melayu

Fluency in Mandarin

Knowledge of ISO 9001/ISO 14001 compliance

Education

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
