Job summary

PWCO E-SERVICES SDN. BHD. in Johor Bahru, Malaysia is recruiting for Audit Associate / Audit Senior to support our expanding regional operations.

The role involves planning, executing and finalizing audit engagements, and developing audit strategies with a focus on quality and timeliness. The ideal candidate holds an Accountancy degree or professional qualifications (CA/ACCA/CPA Australia), with 2+ years of audit experience for Senior level or fresh graduates for Associate.

Qualifications

• A recognized degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of audit experience for Audit Senior; Audit Associate positions are open to fresh graduates.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning, execution and completion of audit engagements.
• Provide support and assist in developing audit strategies and plans.
• Perform administrative tasks related to AI tools and data entry to streamline audit processes.
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports and documentation.
• Analyze financial statements and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform on-site fieldwork and analytical review of audit works.
• Analyses internal control system of audited companies, identify and recommend best practices effectual and practical internal controls.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of audit engagements.
• Participate in training sessions and seminars to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
• Willingness to travel overseas for client engagements as required.
• Work closely with other member and management on remote audit.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
