Job summary

NTT DATA in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Generative AI Azure Architect to join its Cloud & Security practice, supporting clients across ASEAN.

You will design and implement practical Generative AI solutions on Microsoft Azure, provide presales support, client advisory, and early delivery shaping to align with business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Microsoft technology experience with Azure AI or enterprise AI architecture.
• Experience with Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, Copilot, LLMs, and RAG patterns.
• Ability to connect business challenges to AI-enabled technology outcomes and present to CxO audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design Generative AI and Azure AI solutions for enterprise clients.
• Advise on Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot, RAG patterns and agentic AI concepts.
• Shape AI use cases, pilots, and scalable enterprise AI solution patterns.
• Support AI governance, security, privacy, and operational considerations in solution design.
• Collaborate with data, cloud, security, application, and automation teams to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Assist presales activities including client workshops, demonstrations, and proposals.
• Help clients translate AI ideas into business cases and roadmaps.
• Explain complex AI concepts to senior stakeholders and CxO audiences.

Role Overview

NTT DATA is looking for an experienced Generative AI Azure Architect to join our Cloud & Security practice in Malaysia, supporting clients across the ASEAN region.

This role is focused on helping clients understand, design, and adopt practical Generative AI solutions using Microsoft Azure and the broader Microsoft AI ecosystem. The successful candidate will support presales, client advisory, solution design, and early-stage delivery shaping for AI solutions that are secure, governed, commercially viable, and aligned to business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Generative AI and Azure AI solutions for enterprise clients.
• Advise clients on Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot, RAG patterns, LLM-based solutions, and agentic AI concepts.
• Shape AI use cases, proof-of-concepts, pilots, and scalable enterprise AI solution patterns.
• Support AI governance, responsible AI, security, privacy, and operational considerations in solution design.
• Work with data, cloud, security, application, and automation teams to create end-to-end AI-enabled solutions.
• Support presales activities, including client workshops, demonstrations, proposals, commercial input, and executive presentations.
• Help clients move from AI ideas to practical business cases, solution roadmaps, and implementation approaches.
• Explain complex AI concepts in simple business language for senior stakeholders and CxO audiences.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of Microsoft technology experience, with strong experience in Azure AI, Generative AI, or enterprise AI solution architecture.
• Proven experience with Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot-related solutions, LLMs, RAG, automation, or agentic AI patterns.
• Strong understanding of AI solution design, data grounding, prompt orchestration, governance, security, and enterprise adoption considerations.
• Experience shaping AI solutions in presales, consulting, systems integration, or enterprise technology environments.
• Ability to connect business challenges to practical AI-enabled technology outcomes.Comfortable presenting to senior technical and business stakeholders, including CxO audiences.
• Strong English communication skills, either as a primary language or strong secondary language.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure data platforms, Microsoft Fabric, or enterprise data architecture.
• Exposure to cloud security, AI security, responsible AI frameworks, or compliance requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Copilot for Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, or app modernization.
