Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Cheras for a General Manager (Tourism). Your primary role will be to drive business growth, marketing plans and operations for NCR Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. You shall assume responsibility and accountability for the overall strategic planning, transformation and the full operations for NCR Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd. You are required to elevate for long‑term growth and sustainability through differentiated market strategies, focused planning and disciplined execution. You shall provide strong fiscal management and effective stewardship oversight at all levels of the company which includes inbound, outbound, and corporate travel services, expanding to cover the full spectrum of travel and tour operations. In short, as an experienced, innovative, and visionary General Manager, you will energize and lead the organization in implementing short-term and long-term strategies in a challenging, competitive and regulated environment.

Qualifications

  • Malaysian or with Permanent Resident (PR) only.
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 8 – 10 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in the Malaysian tourism industry or knowledge of the local market is desirable.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, business management, and leadership roles.
  • Strong skills in project management, operational oversight, and resource allocation.
  • Expertise in market analysis, sales strategies, and fostering stakeholder relationships.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
