The General Manager, Supply Chain will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and executing the company’s end-to-end supply chain strategy. This position is responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and ensuring the seamless alignment of production, planning, and logistics functions with overall business objectives. The position can be based either at our Johor factory or at our Shah Alam headquarters, depending on the candidate’s preference and operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and vision to the Supply Chain function, setting direction and priorities in line with the company’s growth and operational goals.
- Drive the development and implementation of long‑term supply chain strategies, improvement initiatives, and transformation projects to enhance agility, scalability, and competitiveness.
- Oversee manufacturing and supply planning programs to improve lead times, responsiveness, and reliability across the value chain.
- Develop and manage comprehensive supply chain business plans, ensuring strong collaboration and alignment with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Optimize inventory management and product availability through effective production planning, balancing cost efficiency with service excellence.
- Strengthen supplier and partner relationships to ensure sustainable performance, quality, and risk mitigation across the supply network.
- Lead cost optimization initiatives to deliver year‑on‑year improvements in supply chain efficiency and productivity within approved budgets.
- Provide strategic insights and regular performance reviews to Senior Management, enabling informed decision‑making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management within the manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels with a strong track record of driving transformation and performance results.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
