A charitable foundation in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a General Manager / Senior Manager to oversee operations, implement strategic plans, and engage stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of experience in management or fundraising. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, developing funding initiatives, and ensuring financial compliance. The General Manager / Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, programs, and sustainability of Yayasan Nurjiwa. This role includes strategic planning, operational management, stakeholder engagement, and the development of funding and income-generating initiatives to support the foundation’s long-term objectives.
Oversee daily operations, programs, and administrative functions of the foundation.
Develop and implement strategic and operational plans aligned with the foundation’s mission.
Identify, develop, and manage funding sources, including fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, grants, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships.
Actively source and build relationships with donors, contributors, corporate partners, and benefactors.
Explore and develop income-generating activities, including social enterprise or business initiatives to support the foundation’s sustainability.
Manage budgeting, financial monitoring, and responsible utilization of funds.
Ensure compliance with governance, regulatory, and reporting requirements.
Lead, supervise, and support staff performance and operational efficiency.
Prepare reports, proposals, and updates for management and the Board of Trustees.
Represent the foundation in meetings, fundraising events, and external engagements.
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field.
Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in management, fundraising, business development, or NGO/foundation operations.
Proven ability in fundraising, donor relations, or income generation will be an added advantage.
Strong leadership, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
Good financial acumen and understanding of governance.
Self-driven, resourceful, and able to work independently.
