Qualifications

General Manager, Plant Operations (Food Manufacturing)

Lead and manage the overall plant operations to ensure the efficient production of high-quality food products. Responsible for driving operational excellence, safety, and profitability while aligning with the company’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee end-to-end plant operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
  • Accountable for plant financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability targets.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality, food safety, and regulatory standards (e.g. HACCP, ISO, GMP).
  • Drive strong collaboration across production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain functions.
  • Provide strategic leadership to develop, motivate, and mentor the workforce for peak performance.
  • Maintain effective relationships with government agencies, certification bodies, and business partners.
  • Monitor market trends and operational risks, implementing timely mitigation and improvement measures.
  • Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by Management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in food processing or FMCG.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
