Your role in our team:

  • As a key member of the senior management team, the General Manager – Cigarette Filter Making & Logistic Machines and Conversions is responsible for leading and aligning the strategic direction of the Cigarette Filter Making and Logistic Equipment division, and the Conversions production.
  • This role oversees Cigarette Filter & Logistic technical clarification, production operations (including tune & test), and the full machine lifecycle.
  • The role is critical in driving innovation, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction in line with the company’s ambitious growth targets.

Key Tasks:

  • Lead, coach, and develop Group Managers across Cigarette Filter Making & Logistic Machines and Conversion divisions.
  • Drive innovation and transformation initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Shape and develop the Filter Making & Logistic Machines division, including production and technical clarification for improvement in production capacity and efficiency through strategic planning and execution.
  • Oversee the execution of complex planning of offers and orders according to the available resources.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of commercial order processing and project implementation.
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams internally and globally, including on-site coordination at customer locations
  • Ensure successful order or project execution by identifying risks, planning countermeasures, and maintaining control over milestones, costs, and deliverables.
  • Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 standards and corporate policies.
  • Lead or support cross-departmental and global projects, maintaining close communication with international counterparts.

Your profile:

  • Degree/ Bachelor/ MBA in Engineering fields with excellent results.
  • More than 10 years of working experience in a complex machinery or production function in a manufacturing environment of a MNC Company (with particular emphasis on innovation production or machinery design).
  • More than 5 years of management experience.
  • Highly trustworthy and reliable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel in a multi-national environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and process oriented.
  • Good knowledge in SAP as well as MS Office tools.
  • Profound project management skills.
  • Good command in English.
  • Knowledge of German would be an advantage.
  • Able to work independently and under time pressure.
