Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven General Manager to lead our Malaysia operations. The ideal candidate will oversee all business functions—including sales, operations, marketing, and people management—while driving sustainable growth, profitability, and brand excellence.

This is a key leadership role requiring a balance of commercial acumen, operational discipline, and people leadership to ensure Ergoworks Malaysia continues to thrive in a competitive and fast-evolving wellness and ergonomic market.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
  • Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies aligned with the Group’s vision and business objectives.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across B2B, B2C, and e-commerce channels.
  • Drive revenue and profitability while maintaining operational excellence and brand integrity.
  • Provide strategic insights and market intelligence to shape business direction and competitiveness.
Operational Excellence
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution of retail, distribution, and service functions.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams.
  • Implement systems and processes to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and cost management.
Sales & Business Development
  • Strengthen corporate and retail partnerships, including collaborations with HR departments, wellness programs, and institutional buyers.
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
  • Manage key account relationships and ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and retention.
People Leadership & Culture
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team committed to excellence and innovation.
  • Foster a positive, performance-driven culture focused on accountability, creativity, and teamwork.
  • Ensure staff alignment with company values, goals, and service standards.
Reporting & Governance
  • Monitor and report financial and operational KPIs to Group Headquarters.Ensure compliance with local regulatory, financial, and employment requirements.
  • Maintain clear communication with Singapore HQ on strategy execution and business performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in sales, business management, or general management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in multi-channel business management (retail, corporate, and e-commerce).
  • Strong leadership, commercial, and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience in lifestyle, furniture, ergonomic, or wellness sectors is highly desirable.
  • Results-oriented, analytical, and adaptable to dynamic business environments.
