Job Description
We are seeking an experienced General Manager (GM) to spearhead the company’s growth, elevate our brand presence, and drive overall business excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, franchise management, training program design, SOP and KPI formulation, and corporate performance enhancement, as well as the ability to provide strategic consultation to entrepreneurs and business owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Oversee company operations to ensure business goals, growth targets, and profitability objectives are achieved.
- Business Development & Expansion: Develop and execute strategies to grow MACTION’s presence in executive education, franchise consulting, and corporate training. Identify new opportunities and partnerships to drive sustainable business growth.
- Training Program Innovation: Design, develop, and enhance impactful training programs or workshop modules that address current business challenges, industry trends, and client needs.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team to achieve company objectives while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Client & Business Consultation: Provide strategic consultation to business owners, entrepreneurs, and franchise operators on operational improvements, performance optimization, and growth strategies.
- Sales & Marketing Leadership: Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to plan and execute strategies that enhance brand visibility, attract clients, and strengthen market positioning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in developing and conducting training programs, as well as establishing SOPs and KPIs.
- Strong understanding of training program design, business strategy, and organizational development.
- Proficiency in English and Malay; Mandarin proficiency is preferred to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (spoken and written).
